Welcome to the website which is primarily aimed at giving information about the Village Hall. The Hall is a registered Charity, managed by a committee of volunteer Trustees, made up of local residents and representatives of our regular hirer groups. We host a range of groups including drama organisations for both adults and children, Cubs and Scouts, yoga classes, helping hands for older people and many others.

If you need to contact anyone in relation to the Village Hall here are the relevant details:

For booking enquiries or any general information contact Hall Secretary Gill Cockle or on 07521 005683

The Village Hall is funded through a mix of hire income, grants and fundraising. We currently have some day time availability to hire the Hall on a regular basis. Our spaces are great for groups and clubs - from art classes to toddler playgroups to exercise and dance classes. Rates start from £15 per hour for the Main Hall - other rooms are available for smaller groups. Please contact Gill Cockle on 07521005683 or email her at secretary@aspley-guise.org.uk for more information.

An important aspect of our fundraising work is our participation in the country-wide Open Gardens programme. We typically aim to hold two Open Gardens afternoons when a number of gardens in the village are opened to the public, and light lunches, tea and refreshments are served in the Village Hall. We welcome new gardeners to show off their gardens, however modest, and helpers in the Hall are always useful. Please contact Gill Cockle on 07521 005683 or Anne Papworth on 01908 583307 for more details. The dates of the Open Gardens are normally mid-May and mid-July but are fixed by the Village Hall Committee early in the year.

CCTV: The Hall uses Closed Circuit TV to monitor that the car park is being used only by Hall users and to prevent crime. This complies with the Hall’s CCTV Policy which can be requested on demand from the secretary Gill Cockle.
